- Résumé : The twenty six poems in The End of the Day look forward to the day of judgement and resurrection. The poems examine the question of its inevitability, the preparations and behavior required to survive it, and dealing with challenges to those preparations and behaviors. They also discuss the observance of Eid and Ramadan, and the desire of Muslims everywhere to be called to prayer and to properly observe these occasions.
