- Résumé : This is a collection of images relating to artistic experimentation by the Futurists in the field of photography, starting from the photodynamism of the Bragaglia brothers, together with some portraits taken by photographers belonging to the movement, or by professionals, whose pictures have captured the reactions of Futurists in front of the camera lens. Without forgetting an assortment of snapshots that offer a glimpse into the private life of many protagonists, as well as the numerous public occasions, helping to reconstruct the history of the groups and initiatives through which the movement conducted its activities. The selection of photographs, many of which have never been published before, is supplemented by numerous reproductions taken from original and rare Futurist publications, including catalogues, posters, books and magazines. Browsing through this Futurist family album can contribute to an understanding of the character of what was a fundamental artistic and existential adventure of the first half of the twentieth century.
