En marge du canon

Les contributions rassemblées dans cet ouvrage proviennent du 65e congrès annuel de l'Association catholique des études bibliques au Canada (ACEBAC), entièrement consacré à des écrits " en marge du canon ". Ce volume propose deux survols de ce que Jean-Claude Picard appelait le " continent apocryphe " et sept excursions dans certaines de ses régions. On y traite du rapport des écrits apocryphes avec les écrits canoniques, des diverses manières de sélectionner et de grouper ces écrits, des apocryphes historiographiques, des oracles sibyllins, des évangiles apocryphes, de l'Évangile selon Thomas, de l'Apocalypse syriaque de Daniel, de l'Évangile de judas et des livres d'Hénoch. Par la diversité de ses angles d'approche, cet ouvrage représente un échantillon des questions qu'il reste à poser à ces écrits " en marge du canon ". -- The contributions assembled in this book come from the 65th annual congress of the Catholic Bible Association of Canada (CBAC), entirely devoted to writings 'outside the canon'. This volume offers two short overviews of what Jean-Claude Picard called the 'apocryphal continent' and seven excursions into certain of its regions. It examines the rapports between the apocryphal and canonical writings, the different ways one can select and group these writings, historiographic Apocrypha, sibylline oracles, apocryphal gospels, the Gospel According to St. Thomas, the Syriac Apocalypse of Daniel, the Gospel of Judas and the Book of Enoch. By virtue of its varying angles of approach, this book provides a sample of the questions that remain to be asked about these writings 'outside the canon'.
