  • Résumé : Nestled in the Gallatin National Forest near Yellowstone Park, Big Sky, Montana, is a quintessential haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Spring brings vibrant wildflowers and opportunities for hiking and fishing, while winter transforms the landscape into a snowy paradise for skiers and snowboarders. Big Sky Resort, a focal point in this scenic wonderland, has not only redefined the American ski experience but has also rivaled the world's top ski destinations. From its early history to attracting A-list celebrities, the area's allure is explored, with retired newscaster Chet Huntley's vision realized by Everett Kircher in 1976. With Lone Mountain as a steadfast North Star, Big Sky continues to evolve, boasting pioneering ski lifts and technology. A captivating journey through this dream destination, Big Sky is a must-read for those dreaming of their next adventure.
  • Biographie : Barbara Rowley is an editor and writer who has lived in Big Sky for thirty-four years, since writing a magazine travel assignment about the resort.
